Primitave looking piece of machinery that when worn and within 500 ft of an item of true science, dials start spinning and hands point direction to item. Worn on wrist and makes no sound so you must pay attention or else you could miss clues and pass by items without knowing it.
Original origin unknown, was found by Gregory Kingsley in an excavation north of lady’s gate. Given to Corraline as a gift from her father, she mounted it onto a piece of leather and wears it on her right wrist.
