Sitting in a room full of people he is the only that is never truly alone.
Shuned by everyone not taking the time to talk to him because he is different and his people are from hell they whisper.
He was always gifted in magic and sword fighting more so than most. During the travel to his new home The Great Waste he was chosen to accept training into a select group of fierce fighters. His family was proud as is the way of any family who have a gifted child. Their pride and his happiness would prove to be short lived.
His family was killed by extremists the Black Eagles on their holy mission of killing his people. He did what he could but he was still to weak.
He closed himself of from the world and focused on his training. He promised to get strong not let his people suffer more. He took up a his Black Blade and from that moment on he felt power. He also felt something else something in the back of his mind. He felt like he wasn’t alone anymore.
Training was grueling but it paid off. He gained the strength he wanted. He would run missions and it was during these missions he met the twins Valen and Rollan. They were sent to investigate the magic storm in the waste. Something that had not happened as of late. He liked the brothers it was nice having people around not judging you.
He also meet another interesting person while in Craidyl. Her name was Corraline. He was sitting all alone eating when she came up and started talking to him. She was full of questions and Cathan was eager to answer. He was alittle scared at first not having the best social skills but there conversation was good. She was added to a short list of people he would call friend.
Also while on a mission in The Great waste he stumbled upon a book titled “how to make friends”. The first chapter was all that was left the rest destroyed in the desert sun. Smile big all the time it said that’s the key. So he did from then on a tan face with black eyes smiling no matter the circumstances.
Deep down he wanted to be liked wanted his people to be accepted. This was the first step in that acceptance. He speaks alot to much for most and always says the wrong things but he is trying.
